On Friday 26th of April, we were delighted to host the award- winning author Michael Grant. Michael spoke about himself and his work to all of Year 8 and 9 pupils about Light, the last book in his gripping Gone series.

His novels are tension-filled stories told in a driving, torrential narrative style that never lets up. Such was Michael’s popularity with the pupils that he remained signing books and sitting for photographs an hour after his talk finished. Even Year 13 students stood at the back to ask pertinent questions.

The enthusiasm that our students showed and the excellent questions that they asked was testimony to the engaging work of this witty and warm American author.
