Christmas preparations are in full swing in the German Department. Our Year 12 students have been busy baking Lebkuchen in the Food Tech building, following traditional German recipes. Year 7 pupils have been learning about the tradition of Nikolaus on 6 December, whereby children leave their shoes outside and good children are rewarded with sweet treats (and the naughty ones get a lump of coal or a bundle of twigs!).
