High Sheriff and Magistrate Speak to Students

High Sheriff and Magistrate Speak to Students

Published Tuesday 4 February 2025 by SJV

Today some of our Sixth Form students interested in the Law enjoyed a talk in the Pavilion from High Sheriff of Gloucestershire (and former managing editor of BBC Radio Gloucestershire), Mark Hurrell, and serving Magistrate Julia Hurrell. The Hurrells spoke about their careers in media and the law, and Mrs Hurrell, who has been a magistrate for over 30 years, discussed some of the particular challenges and complexities of her role. Our sincere thanks to them both for their time.
