It’s National Careers Week, and on Friday students will be taking part in a quiz in tutor time about staff members’ career journeys and aspirations. Of course, careers education is an all-year-round focus for us; we’re incredibly proud to hold the national quality mark for careers education – the Quality in Careers Standard – and to be listed in the National Register of Award Holders of the Quality in Careers Standard at www.qualityincareers.org.uk/what-is-the-quality-in-careers-standard/national-register-of-award-holders. Recently all year groups enjoyed careers presentations from Zurich and BMW as part of National Apprenticeship week, plus we have our annual Careers Fayre in February, mock interview days for Year 11 students, Year 10 work experience placements, talks from alumni working a wide range of industries and professions to Sixth Form students and much more besides.
