A beautifully sculpted relief plaque commemorating former Headmaster J Anthony Stocks has been installed outside the hall during the summer break. Affectionately know as 'Jasper', Mr Stocks was Head from 1961 to 1973, overseeing the move of the School from Barton Street to Oakleaze during this time.

He was wholeheartedly committed to the School, dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and his vision and leadership will be long remembered.

Old Richians who were at the school in Mr Stocks' era attended the official assembly and unveiling ceremony at the end of the summer term, and enjoyed sharing memories of their school days at a lunch served in the Pavilion.

The plaque was sculpted by Lucy Kinsella and sponsored by the Old Richians' Association.
