Politics Trip to Parliament

Last week 30 of our Year 13 Politics students visited London for a trip to Parliament, The Supreme Court and the Churchill War Rooms. The trip was an opportunity for the students to revisit their studies of the UK government. Due to parliamentary recess for the annual party conferences, students were able to walk through the division lobbies and both houses to get an idea of how it feels to stand and debate in the chambers. In the Supreme Court, students sat as the justices in courts one and two and revised the development of the court. As an additional bonus students were able to visit the Churchill War Rooms and consider how government decisions were made during the war.
