Each year the whole of Year 7 and Year 8 enter the Junior Maths challenge where they face 25 questions that test not only their mathematical understanding but also their logic.

This year we had our best results ever with 15 boys qualifying for the follow on round, the Junior Kangaroo competition. Congratulations to Max Pattison, Takuma Cheong, Kyle Neal, Thomas Evans, George Dadd, Finley Hitchings, Oliver Rudd (all Year 7), Alex Parvanov, Morgan Keane, Will Fitchsampson, Thomas Shephard, Idrees Kholwadia, Enrico Canova, Muhammad Kathrada and Sam Sharples (all Year 8).

In the Junior Maths Kangaroo competitioneveryone did themselves and the school proud but we were delighted to hear that four boys: Max, Alex, Morgan and Will, all gained merit awards for coming in the top 25% of the entrants. This is a superb achievement, well done boys.
